Waste Management

The priority in waste management is consistent waste sorting. The process allows usable waste components, such as glass, paper, plastic packaging and metal, to be submitted for subsequent use, while components that could become a potential hazard to the environment are removed and discarded in a proper manner.

The system of separate waste collection has been implemented for a long time. Individual workplaces are equipped with containers for separate waste collection, so that waste sorting can take place directly at source.

In 2019, the company produced a total of 16.38 tonnes of other waste (representing a 3.4t increase compared to the previous year), of which 6.38 tonnes of waste was sorted and submitted for recycling. These data correspond with the annual waste management report drafted pursuant to the Integrated Reporting Fulfilment System (ISPOP).
