12 836 passengers were dispatched at the Karlovy Vary International Airport during the first quater 2007, which means increase about 266,0 % in comparison with the same period of the last year. This growth was caused by frequency increasing on the route Moscow - Karlovy Vary - Moscow during winter timetable from two to three frequencies weekly, along with lots of charter flights from European destinations in context of Škoda World Dealer Conference 2007 and fact, that the airport was closed for all traffic by an airport closure related with runway modernization from 8th March 2006.
